New Initiative Manager

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Research and assess consumer electronic trends (technology, sales, usage behaviors, etc.)
Analyze financial potential for new product ideas.
Work with Senior New Initiative Manager to screen and evaluate new business opportunities.
Explore marketing, operational, actuarial, filing and licensing recommendations as part of feasibility research; analyzes and draws conclusions based on the implications of findings.
Provides Sales and CRM Support for new product at the time of testing and subsequently rollout.
Coordinates regulatory resources, organization documentation and resources for new products, services or market opportunities.
Develops and presents business plans and justification for new business opportunities/new products.
Monitor developments in the field(s) of product design and development, project management direct marketing, sales and service, technology by pursuing a program of self-development, participating in professional organizations, interacting with peers, reviewing pertinent literature, and so forth.
Ensures integrity of existing products by serving as team member on channel-driven product enhancement projects.
For products which launch, this individual may take the initiative beyond planning/feasibility stage into execution stage.
Basic
Qualifications:
Requires 5 years of Financial Services or Insurance industry business experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills--especially working with cross-functional teams-- and the ability to present a professional image.
Organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple complex tasks in a timely fashion.
Incumbent to be self-motivated to independently work to complete multiple projects/tasks in a timely and accurate fashion.
Ability to research and assess industry developments/trends.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Problem solving ability and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities and priorities to meet organizational goals.
Ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions to a broad audience.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently or as part of a project team to complete multiple tasks.
Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus.
Product Development Expertise a plus.
