Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive PeopleSoft ERP Financials skills with Inventory as the specific area of expertise and need. Resource will be required to perform at a high Functional level and will have the support of other ERP consultants from a programming perspective. We have already rolled out the PeopleSoft inventory module in version 9.1 to the main warehouse and several maintenance shops. This individual will need to know PeopleSoft version 9.1 forward and head up numerous maintenance shop level implementations. We have interfaces to: HighJump for barcode integration and also Infor EAMS to interface maintenance and inventory functions and capture the accurate dollar value of repairs and preventative maintenance. The resource will be required to assess selected maintenance shops; identify items both existing and new, load spreadsheets for loading, setup shop inventory, test, load, and train identified shop level intebory staff. Supervision and direction will occur from Finance and Information Systems managers.
The applicant's resumes will be reviewed and top candidates interviewed. Selected candidates will have to pass and maintain security clearances required to perform the inventory function. Candidate will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
Specific Technical Requirements:
Functional expertise in PeopleSoft 9.1 and above.
Functional Expertise (+5 years' experience) in PeopleSoft Inventory.
Technically knowledgeable in PeopleSoft; PeopleTools and required reporting technical toolset.
Knowledgeable in 3rd Party tools/interfaces such as: HighJump; Work Order Systems such as Infor is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Considerable knowledge of the current principles and practices related to PeopleSoft.
Knowledge of the current research and trends in Inventory practices.
Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communications.
Ability to write technical documents and provide end user training.
Ability to communicate across multiple audiences (i.e. Warehouse, Management, Executives)
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Functional expertise in PeopleSoft Inventory 9.1 and above.
Functional Expertise (+5 years' experience) in PeopleSoft Inventory.
Technically knowledgeable in PeopleSoft; PeopleTools and required reporting technical toolset.
