Position: Business Analyst (Ref: 62)
Location: Miami, FL 33173
Duration: 6 Months 4 Days - Contract

Pay Rate: $50.00/hr

The scope of this effort is to conduct high level analysis and inventory existing functionality to include systems developed or acquired by some agencies to address inefficiencies not available in CJIS, documenting the as is or current state and considering future requirements for a centralized criminal justice system serving the informational needs of all justice agencies, incorporating agency functions and system integration.
Roles:
Communication (Written and Verbal) -- Candidate will interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their business functions and desired requirements;
Analysis -- Candidate will have outstanding analytically skills so that a customer's business needs are properly interpreted and translated into functional and technical requirements; candidate will analyzing data, documents, user input surveys and workflows to determine requirements;
Decision Making -- candidate will assess a situation, receive input from stakeholders and propose viable solutions that will be translated into business and technical requirements;
Project Management -- candidate will have practical experience with project management techniques and tools
Required / Desired Skills
Experience in leading business process re-engineering efforts for at least three (3) medium-to-large software projects. (Required 3 Years)
Project management experience, i.e. understanding the business need, defining and documenting functional and technical requirements and demonstrating proposed outcome to stakeholders via flowcharts depicting operational workflows and possible technology s (Required 3 Years)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required 3 Years)
