Certified Nursing Assistant (Intermittent)

The incumbent will be assigned to the intermittent pool under the resource nurse manager and will function primarily on Medical/Surgical wards, however may be required to float throughout the various units within the hospital on an as needed basis.
The incumbent provides basic nursing care for a variety of patients of all ages, (18 and above), by assisting those capable of partial self-care with their activities of daily living (ADL) and by giving care to those unable to perform their own, as established in the plan of care.
Activities include bathing, shaving, dressing and undressing; turning and positioning; and making beds.
He/she cares for patients with adaptive equipment and in specialty beds; applies protective and supportive devices; sets up and gives treatments requiring the assembly and operation of special equipment.
Takes, records and reports vital signs and weights, measures and records intake and output; collects specimens and cares for drainage apparatus; applies external urinary devices; and assists with urinal and bedpan use; also responsible for performing transfers with the use of assistive devices; communicates with patients, families, visitors and staff in a positive manner.
Has the ability to assist during emergencies as needed, including knowledge of CPR.
Hours of work may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
WORK SCHEDULE:
INTERMITTENT ,- Flexible work schedules are available.
Work schedule is on call and there are no prearranged tours of duty.
The incumbent is expected to be available for work at least one weekend per month.
This is a temporary position; incumbent is limited to working no more than 1820 hours per year and there is no set work schedule.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
