Description:
We are seeking a Linux System Administrator with the following skills:
Installation of zNM 5.4 thru 6.3 in a dual IBM 2098s with multiple LPARs
Installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 through 11.3 running as zNM Guests
Installation of RedHat Linux Server 6.3 thru 6.5 running as z/VM Guests
Coding of REXX scripts to automate the back-ups of zNM and z/Linux operating systems
Knowledgeable with TCP/IP configuration and the implementation of SMTP, FTP, TN3270 and web services in z/OS, z/VM and z/Linux environments.
Knowledgeable with SMP/E installation and maintenance for a variety of program products.
Knowledgeable with the planning, implementation and configuration of the Open Systems Adapter-Express Integrated Console Controller (OSA-ICC) function in System Z
Extensive experience supporting of 24 hour, 7 day operations
