Summary
The Divisional Vice President, Sales will be a key member of the Rewards Network Sales Leadership Team and will have primary responsibility for leading the field sales function at the Regional Level. This role is responsible for achieving sales results and driving innovative and integrated sales initiatives in partnership with the Chief Sales Officer and other members of the Sales Leadership and Corporate Functional Teams. The successful candidate must be able to focus, motivate and lead Rewards Network's sales resources effectively to successfully deliver sales results. Working closely with a strong management team, this individual will serve as an important spokesperson in advancing Rewards Network's brand and reputation with its merchant base. The successful candidate will provide strong, proactive visible leadership at a senior management experience level, including the ability to foster a positive business climate and motivate employees, and functioning as an effective advocate and architect for growth. This individual will exhibit enthusiasm, a commitment to succeed, and a strong business ethics based on honesty and integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and achieve growth-oriented revenue and profit goals and objectives.
Lead formulation of the overall annual sales plan for Rewards Network.
Lead and develop Divisional Sales teams to execute sales strategies and deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth.
Recommend, obtain buy-in and implement changes needed to align the organization with overall strategy and tactics
Recommend, develop, and implement sales training tools and processes to improve productivity and effectiveness
Track, manage and communicate sales forecasts and results.
Motivate Regional Sales Teams via effective communication of the sales strategy and tactics to all constituencies
Develop effective relationships with key customers in the Division and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market.
Advise and collaborate with the Chief Sales Officer and other members of the Sale Leadership Team committee on sales strategy, tactics, competitor assessments, and market trends.
Partner with Human Resources to recruit, develop and retain High Caliber Talent while managing and setting performance expectations with direct reports.
Align Regional Sales compensation with Rewards Network strategic direction and priorities.
Drive Regional teams to exceed sales quotas and to identify new business opportunities within their Region.
Analyze, communicate and forecast sales goals and strategies for the regional sales team as it relates to our Marketing Services and Merchant Cash Advances product offerings.
Evaluate talent to understand and develop high potential/high performing sales associates and appropriate staffing models
Create and sustain effective collaborative partnerships with all sales leadership and Department Heads.
Plan and conduct thorough regional analysis to improve product positioning and to increase the effectiveness and revenue production of the sales team.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of successful sales leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years managing multiple levels of direct reports.
Candidates must have a proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecasts and budgets, and achieving sales results.
Candidates must have proven organizational design and process skills and be capable of reorienting or changing the sales organization to optimize market conditions, sell products, serve customers, and support and service new product types.
Candidates must have experience in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships within other departments within the organization.
Experience successfully leading and managing sales teams selling to the restaurant industry is ideal.
75% travel leading and managing a division team of four regions and 40 sales personnel across multiple states.
This position is a remote role. Ideal candidates will be located in the Atlanta, GA metro region or the state of Florida. Responsibilities include managing regions within Georgia, South/North Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia, Tennessee & Florida.
