Your Role
As a Gensler Interior Designer, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. With you as part of the design team, interiors have never been so engaging.
What You Will Do
Lead interior design teams on projects, working with Design Director(s) and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
Collaborate on workplace interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and management of budgets and schedules
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, lighting, and furniture specifications
Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, consultants, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs.
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited school
8 - 15 years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on corporate/workplace interiors
Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3D and other modeling software programs
Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
Strong abilities in managing fees, schedules and staffing.
Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Computer skills to include Revit and AutoCAD
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, SPEXX a plus
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
Registered Architect or Interior Designer preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
