Job Title: Manager, Fuel Budget & Perf
Manage fuel team, create budgets and forecasts, drive shipboard performance and provide fleet operations center with Key Performance Indicators and analysis. Fuel is the largest single item expense for the company after payroll. This person will be managing 2 analysts responsible for forecasting fuel consumption and running reports comparing forecast vs. actual performance. The manager will need to review the budget before submitting to the director. They are responsible for ensuring the quality of the model being used on the budget forecast. They will also be the liaison with other departments when fuel consumption analysis are needed (i.e. when Entertainment is planning Carnival Live, they would consult with the manager requesting an analysis of fuel consumption and the best port of call to hold the event). They are also responsible for approving fuel invoices (average of 2,500 invoices/year invoices could be up to $750,000). Also responsible for managing a budget for aprox. $1.5-2MM. Finally, they will be tasked to develop new reporting and track models for the Fleet Operations Center and will be a part of the Principal's Committee to discuss fuel issues. Some acceptable experience would be in energy management, marine operations, energy program management, fuel & energy consumption.
Supervise Fuel Team -
Overall responsible for annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
Overall responsible for fuel modeling for budgets and decision analysis
Overall responsible for analyzing and approving fuel bunker receipts and invoices
Perform periodic analysis of fuel consumption, KPIs and trending
Perform fuel decision analysis for outside departments (non-marine ops)
Create Fleet Operations Center/Fuel Team integration plan and execute
Assist Director Marine Planning w/ strategic projects & analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering.
Technical shipboard operational experience (preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant role.
Knowledge of marine bunkering operations, marine fuels, shipboard operations, industrial energy efficiency, technical analysis, numerical/empirical modeling,
Microsoft Office Suite (particularly high level excel skills)
AutoCAD, numerical modeling software, asset management software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
