Account Executive - Consumer

Responsibilities
Provide client service support:
attend meetings and draft recaps, manage workloads, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems
Activate events centered on client's objectives
Contribute ideas on the development of client programs
Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles
Perform traditional and online conversation research and analysis and provide recommendations.
Support with project management, working with vendors and tracking financial details
Demonstrate understanding of social media tools
Identify and work with traditional and online media contacts
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends
Support new business process with research, proposal and pitch preparation
Commit to continuous learning through Edelman University and other training opportunities
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman's values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Basic Qualifications
The account executivemust be fluent in English and Spanish, have at least one year of relevantexperience in public relations and/or related fields including research andanalytics, content development and content editing, management consulting,media and publishing.
Preferred Qualifications
The account executiveshould have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a solid grasp of all basicpublic relations tools and how they are used, as well as solid research,writing and editing skills. S/he should have the ability to work in ahigh-paced environment, working in different accounts at the same time, and beable to prioritize. Experience in health and health-related fields isdesired.
