Network Engineer- Miami at SNI Technology Coral Gables, FL

The role will be responsible for installing and maintaining, monitoring network systems to improve performance, making sure all users know how to use the networks properly and ensuring all system users have authorized access.
Maintaining security, making sure websites function, upgrading network and computer systems and fixing network, hardware, software and systems problems are all duties.
Essential duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist in network design/implementation.
Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
Install and configure computer network equipment.
Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
Provide network support to users.
Maintain servers and associated hardware/applications/services/settings.
Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
Evaluate and recommend security improvements/upgrades.
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
Create and maintain network users/permissions.
Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
Qualifications and Educational RequirementsBachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
Minimum 4-6 years of network experience.
Strong analytical and in-depth problem-solving skills in various platforms:
Azure, Cisco, Avaya, Windows, Active Directory, VMware.
Great communication, interpersonal and support skills.
Sound knowledge of the software and hardware used in the network systems and well- acquainted with the advanced technologies.
Great organizational skills, attention to detail and follow thru.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
