For Sale: 1962 Chevrolet Corvette in Miami, Florida for sale in Miami, FL

Vehicle Description When the American military man returned from Europe at the end of WWII, they did so having gotten a taste of sports car culture.
With that, our auto industry was posed with a new task, and who better than Chevrolet to accomplish this.
Some will argue Ford, but that's a story for another day! There are few cars, let alone American cars, as legendary as Chevrolet's Corvette.
Introduced in 1953 by General Motors' at their annual Motorama event held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, the C1 (first generation) of the Corvette was known to many as the first American sports car.
The C1's production run spanned from 1953 to 1962 and served as inspiration for international automotive design for years to come.
Photographed above, this 1962 Corvette Convertible is what is known as a transitional year car.
With the rear-end of its successor, the C2 or better known as the Stingray, this one year only body style certainly stands out amongst the rest.
Finished in it's correct specification of Roman Red over a Black interior, this two-time NCRS Top-Flight award winner has been meticulously well-cared for and is powered by it's matching numbers 327 CU /340 HP naturally aspirated V8 which is mated to its original 4-speed T-10 manual transmission.
Purchased by a Florida based collector in 2018 from its previous owner of 32 years, this Solid Lifter car was delivered new in California and is currently offered in excellent condition, accompanied by both tops (hard and soft), an immense amount of documentation along with all of its show awards, including but not limited to, an NCRS judgment noting a grand-total score of 97.
