Vehicle Description 1960 Toyota FJ28L Short Wheel Base Pickup.
The L stands for left hand drive.
It is believed that a coffee planting cooperative imported between 5 and 7 of these cars to Venezuela in 1960.
Toyota Corporation had not entered the Venezuelan market in 1960 so these cars were only available directly from Japan.
There are only 3 of these exact cars.
One of these is restored in the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Utah, the second one is unrestored in a private collection in Los Angeles, and this is the third.
The truck was found approximately 5 years ago in a very small town called Santa Ana in Venezuela, the car was very original when found.
This a nut and bolt high-end restoration that required much research to respect it's originality.
This is an ultra rare vehicle deserving of any Toyota or Japanese collection.
